Proactive Steps to Gather Feedback

Recently, there were some negative posts and comments on Facebook about Evergreen Hearts. The Board members are concerned and take all feedback about our organization very seriously. We reached out to the Facebook administrators on Wednesday to better understand the situation and work with any and all parties towards a resolution.

The feedback we have received centers around communications and information exchange at internal Evergreen Hearts meetings. No clarifications or data have been made available to the team at this time. We want to underscore that safety and inclusion is at the heart of Evergreen Hearts, and no person or persons have reported unsafe experiences with the organization or a representative of the organization.

Anyone who has feedback is encouraged to submit via the Contact page on EvergreenHearts.org. Those submissions are documented and reviewed by the Board.

We are being proactive: the Board is hiring an independent counselor who specializes in restorative justice to coordinate meetings for anyone who submits formal feedback. In the event feedback is limited, we are also hiring a nonprofit leadership consultant to review our processes and help us grow and improve.
