New Volunteer Postings

Evergreen Hearts is pleased to announce the opening of three crucial volunteer roles aimed at enhancing our events this spring. We are currently accepting applications via Indeed for the following positions: Event Manager, Event Host, and Event Audio Visual Technician.

As we continue to expand our services for polyamorous folks, these volunteer roles are pivotal to our mission.

Volunteer Roles:

1. Event Manager (apply on Indeed)
The Event Manager will serve as the lead event coordinator, responsible for overseeing the entire event experience. This role includes managing volunteers, collaborating with speakers, and organizing supplies to ensure an event runs smoothly. Candidates should possess strong leadership abilities and a passion for organizing educational events that cater to polyamorous attendees. Individuals should anticipate committing several hours to planning prior to the event, facilitating seamless execution on the day of.

2. Event Host (apply on Indeed)
The Event Host will take on the role of master of ceremonies, making important announcements, introducing speakers, and creating an engaging atmosphere for attendees. This position necessitates excellent public speaking skills, the ability to connect with a diverse audience, and a warm, welcoming demeanor. Preparatory involvement prior to the event will allow the host to familiarize themselves with the agenda and content.

3. Event Audio Visual Technician (apply on Indeed)
The Event Audio Visual Technician will be integral to the technical success of our events, assisting speakers with presentations and managing the sound system. This position is ideal for tech-savvy individuals experienced in audio-visual equipment, eager to provide support for dynamic learning experiences. The Technician will participate in pre-event setup and testing to ensure all technical components function smoothly on event day.

In addition to these three detailed roles, Crew Volunteer positions will be posted soon. Crew Volunteers will assist on the day of the event with essential tasks, including greeting attendees, scanning tickets, managing registration, setting up event spaces, and cleaning up post-event.
