As your Board of Directors, we are thrilled to share our vision for the year ahead. After two incredible years of growth, learning, and connection, Evergreen Hearts Foundation is entering a new season—one that we believe will be our most inspiring yet. With the dedication of our volunteer team and the enthusiasm of our attendees, we are building on a strong foundation to bring even more opportunities for education, connection, and celebration to our event attendees.

A New Season of Events

We have completed two amazing years of programming, and after a well-deserved summer break for our volunteer team, we are ready to launch our next season. Running from fall 2025 through June 2026, this season will feature a vibrant lineup of educational events, mingles, dance fundraisers, and our flagship convention. Last year, many attendees shared that they felt FOMO when some of our premier events fell in the middle of summer vacation season. We listened. To make sure no one misses out, we’ve scheduled this year’s events from October through the end of May—aligning our biggest offerings with the times our attendees are most present and ready to participate.

Introducing ConnectED™

The strongest feedback we received from attendees was a request for more Connections™ events. In response, we’ve designed an entirely new program: ConnectED™. This event is a blend of the best of Connections and our Polyamory Talk Series™. The first half of each ConnectED gathering will be interactive mingle activities designed to help you connect in small groups and mini-meetups. The second half will feature thought-provoking talks from expert professionals. We are thrilled to announce that ConnectED launches on October 19th—and tickets are on sale now. Because we are piloting this format in an intimate venue, tickets are limited, and we expect them to sell out quickly.

World-Class Presenters

Evergreen Hearts Foundation has quickly become a destination for top-tier presenters. This season, we are honored to welcome an extraordinary lineup of professionals and educators from across North America. Our waiting list continues to grow with experts eager to share their knowledge in Seattle. Several of the leading voices in polyamory are releasing new books this year, and we’re proud to provide the stage where they will discuss their latest ideas and discoveries. These events promise to bring fresh insights and national perspectives to our local audience.

Expanding Our Dance Fundraisers

Our attendees’ love for the annual Polyamory Prom™ has been one of the clearest messages in our feedback. Each year, this black-tie formal fundraiser has been a highlight of our season. In response to that enthusiasm, we are expanding our fundraising gala lineup to include a second dance event this winter. Unlike Polyamory Prom’s formal elegance, the new winter fundraiser will be more festive and playful—yet still filled with live music, vibrant energy, and dancing late into the night. Volunteer Appreciation

This last season our volunteer program expanded immensely. We now have 26 event volunteers on the team—running day-of operations, helping attendees, supporting presenters, making AV systems run seamlessly, and handling vital administrative tasks. In addition, we now have three event managers who are doing a phenomenal job designing events, leading volunteers, and keeping every detail of event operations on track. Partner and Sponsor Appreciation

This past season we also launched our partner and sponsor program, and the results have been tremendous. We are grateful to the 13 organizations and businesses that contributed resources, services, and financial support to make our events premium experiences for attendees. Their partnership helps us elevate everything from programming to hospitality, ensuring our events reflect the quality our attendees deserve. New Sales Tax Requirements

Finally, a practical update: beginning October 1, Washington State will require all nonprofit organizations, including Evergreen Hearts Foundation, to apply state and local sales tax to ticketed events. While this change is outside of our control, we are committed to maintaining fair and transparent pricing, and to continuing to deliver exceptional value at every event.

As we step into this new season, we are filled with gratitude—for the volunteers who make these events possible, for the professionals who share their expertise, for the partners and sponsors who stand alongside us, and most of all, for you, our attendees. Together, we are creating spaces that are professional, welcoming, and empowering. We look forward to seeing you this fall and celebrating the many ways Evergreen Hearts Foundation continues to grow.
