Introducing #WhyIShowUp – Stories from the Heart of Attendees

Behind every Evergreen Hearts Foundation event, there’s a story. A reason someone gets dressed up, steps out the door, and walks into a room full of possibility. Maybe it’s to meet someone new. Maybe it’s to learn something that changes their perspective. Maybe it’s just to feel less alone. Whatever the reason — that’s the heart of #WhyIShowUp.

This new storytelling campaign celebrates the courage, curiosity, and confidence it takes to show up — not just at our events, but in life. Through short videos, photos, and posts, we’ll share real voices from attendees, presenters, and volunteers about what inspires them to be part of these experiences. Some stories are tender, some are funny, and some are deeply personal — but each reminds us how meaningful it is to be seen and connected.
