There are some things in life worth getting better at.

Knowing what you want. Knowing how to ask for it. Meeting people who want something compatible. And navigating everything that happens in between.

On Sunday, October 25, Evergreen Hearts Foundation presents an afternoon of Polyamory Talks at the DoubleTree Suites in Tukwila.

We’ll begin with Steve Ratcliff, therapist and longtime educator with the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom, presenting How to Ask for What You Want—an interactive conversation about desires, boundaries, consent, agreements, and the conversations that make good experiences possible.

Then, our featured presenter Dr. Riki Thompson, Communications Professor at the University of Washington, takes the stage for Online Dating Strategies for Polyamory.

Drawing from her research and work on digital dating, Dr. Thompson will explore how we present ourselves online, write profiles that attract compatible partners, communicate what we're looking for, navigate messaging, and move from an app conversation to a promising connection in real life.

Two presentations. One intriguing Sunday afternoon.

Come early for coffee at the hotel, settle in for the talks, and stay afterward for drinks and conversation at the Atrium Bar.

Sunday, October 25 · 2:00–4:00 PM
