Happy holidays to all the community organizers out there! I hope you are getting a break from all the hard volunteering work you do all year with your groups.

Newcomers Social

The next event of the Newcomers Social was announced last week and a third of the tickets have already been grabbed. This will be hosted by Evergreen Hearts on Sunday January 28th from 1-3p at Jules Mae in Georgetown. Please refer anyone from your groups who is in their first 2 years of polyamory or new to the Puget Sound region. This is a free event to attendees, funded by proceeds from our Connections speed-dating/friending events. It is an excellent place for newcomers to meet with community organizers from several different groups (be on the lookout for an invite in the future!). There will also be several polyamory focused therapists there too.

1st Annual Polyamory Prom

Polyamory Prom tickets are now up! Early bird ticket pricing ends December 31st. Based on ticket sales this first week, we expect 300-400 attendees. I am checking with organizers in a few other cities, but this may be one of the largest polyamory events ever in the world. This will sell out long before the event, so encourage your group member to buy tickets so they don't miss out.
