Mel Cassidy Joins ConnectED for a Special Virtual Cameo

Mel Cassidy, relationship coach and author of the newly released book Radical Relating: A Queer and Polyamory-Informed Guide to Love Beyond the Myth of Monogamy, will be joining the next ConnectED event for a special virtual cameo appearance.

In this brief but impactful segment, Mel will share key insights from Radical Relating, a groundbreaking exploration of how deeply held cultural myths about love, commitment, and individuality influence the ways we connect. Written through a queer, trauma-informed, and polyamory-aware lens, the book invites readers to reimagine relationships beyond inherited scripts—offering practical tools for cultivating authenticity, autonomy, and mutual care.

ConnectED is Evergreen Hearts Foundation’s signature educational and social event designed to foster meaningful dialogue, personal growth, and real-world connection. Each event combines engaging mini-meetups and expert talks from leading relationship educators and advocates. This month’s program will feature Tanya Brakeman as the main presenter, alongside Mel Cassidy’s special virtual cameo.
