Building Connection – How We Designed ConnectEd
Behind the Scenes of an Experience That Turns Meeting People Into an Art Form
EVENT ALERT

Connection doesn’t happen by accident. It’s designed — carefully, intentionally, and with just enough mystery to make it feel effortless. When we created ConnectEd, we set out to do something that hadn’t quite been done before: blend the sophistication of a salon with the spark of a social, and the curiosity of a classroom — all within one afternoon.
We started with a question: What if meeting people could feel exciting again? Not awkward. Not forced. But natural, playful, even a little thrilling. The answer was to design an environment that guides people gently into connection — a room where every detail invites interaction, intrigue, and genuine conversation.
The first half of ConnectEd feels like a grand experiment in chemistry. Each attendee takes part in a series of short, curated mingles — quick enough to keep energy alive, deep enough to make an impression. No swiping. No small talk. Just authentic exchanges guided by carefully chosen prompts that bypass the surface and get straight to the human part of meeting someone. Handwritten notes — personal, tangible, and delightfully old-fashioned — carry those sparks forward.
Then comes the second half — a change of rhythm. The room settles into a salon of ideas. Presenters take the stage to share insights on love, communication, and growth. The mingling becomes mental; the curiosity turns inward. It’s a rare thing — an event where intellect and intimacy coexist, each amplifying the other.
Every piece of ConnectEd — from the badges to the seating, the soundtrack to the envelope of connection notes you open at the end — was designed with intention. Because connection isn’t just a feeling; it’s an experience. One that can be crafted, nurtured, and celebrated.
ConnectEd is our answer to the modern loneliness epidemic — a reminder that elegance and authenticity belong in the same room. That learning can be alluring. That play can be profound. And that when design meets desire, people don’t just meet — they connect.
Join us at ConnectEd and experience what human connection can feel like when it’s designed to delight.
